Treleven’s board members are all, in different ways, committed activists on behalf of issues that broadly address social justice; consequently, many of our program initiatives emphasize these concerns. At the present time, areas of emphasis include:
- Fair treatment for migrant farm workers in Vermont’s Champlain Valley;
- Supporting people who work with young children in early care and learning programs;
- Co-sponsoring the Vermont Council on the Humanities’ Vermont Reads project;
- Promoting equity across different sectors of the Addison County community.
