Shel Sax lives in Cornwall, Vermont with his wife Peggy. Longtime friends of the Mitchell family, and frequent visitors to Treleven Farm, we have watched both the family and the land flourish through creativity, hard work and perseverance.
Now retired after 35 years at Middlebury College, Shel works with the Oral Cancer Foundation, a non-profit devoted to working with health professionals to encourage early detection and best practices, as well as providing cancer sufferers and their family relevant information, recommendations and solace. He works as the Oral Cancer Foundation news manager and keeps their website up to date with the latest research, diagnostics, treatments, and news. He also contributes to the management of the Treleven Farm website.
